I just stumbled upon this fun eBay site; WatchedItem.com  It shows you the most watched items on eBay right now.  You can search by category and by auction type.  It is a great way to see what’s hot and talked about on eBay right now.  You can also make banners to put in your listings or website.  Here is an example:
