Ebay is getting ready to change some of the requirements and rewards for being a PowerSeller. Beginning in October 2009, all PowerSellers will be evaluated to see if they can move up to Top-rated seller status . This status will give you 20% off your fees; you will have the first opportunity to purchase a feature first position, and a new badge. You can qualify for this new top-rated position no matter what level of PowerSeller you are currently; you just need to have $3000 in sales for the past 12 months and 100 transactions. The current discount rates will remain in effect until April of 2009.
